The wind was not abeam but still blowing us onto the wall so we used our empty jerry cans as extra fenders which worked very well. It was a really good anchorage with lots of soft sand ensuring a good holding.
So on departure I knew we would have problem. We anchored the first night in Ormos Fikiadha but the gusts were violent so the next day we moved to the adjacent bay, Ormos Kolona. The winds were up to 25kts by now and mssanak seas were getting up.
